Senior IPS officers Shri AM Juri IPS (Chhattisgarh 2000) and Shri KC Agrawal IPS (Chhattisgarh 2002) were dismissed from the service following a recommendation of the Chhattisgarh Government as they were found to be “dead wood”.
The order of removing them was issued by the home ministry yesterday, after an approval of the Appointments Committee of Cabinet, headed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The performance of both the officers was reviewed after completion of their 15 years in service and they were found to be unfit to continue the office.
