Minister of State for Road Transport and Highways and Shipping has informed that the Government proposes to take the digital route to speed up land acquisition. The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways has developed a Web Utility/Portal for processing land acquisition notifications and has already conducted workshops in some states, preparatory to operationalizing the said portal.
