Ten officers appointed as Joint Secretary ( JS )- GOI

In a big Indian bureaucracy news update, 10 officers have been appointed as Joint Secretary ( JS )- Government  of India .
1-Ms. Sunita H Khurana CSS (1996)  presently posted in cadre has been appointed  as Director (JS Level), ISTRM Department of Personnel & Training, in place of Shri Umesh Kumar CSS.
2-Ms. Vandhna Gupta (1990) presently posted in cadre has been appointed as Joint Secretary Ministry of Women & Child Development, in place of Shri Iqbal Singh Chahal IAS .
3-Shri Nikunja Bihari Dhal IAS (Orissa 1983) presently posted in cadre, has been appointed as  Joint Secretary ,Ministry of Mines , in place of Shri Arun Kumar IAS.
4-Shri Sanjay Prasad IAS (UP 1995) presently posted in cadre has been appointed as Joint Secretary, Department of Defence Production, in place of Shri J.R.K Rao IAS.
5-Shri Manoj Diwedi IAS (J&K 1997) presently posted in cadre has been appointed as Joint Secretary, Department of Commerce, in place of Shri J.K Dadoo IAS.
6-Shri R.K Gathwal CSS (1998) presently posted in cadre, has been appointed as Additional Secretary(JS Level)  UPSC, newly upgraded post to Director Level.
7-Shri Samir. K Sinha IAS (Assam- Meghalaya 1994) presently posted in cadre, has been appointed as Joint Secretary Seventh CPC for an extended tenure till 31st December 2015.
8-Shri Prashant Goyal IAS (AGMUT 1993) presently posted in cadre, has been appointed as Joint Secretary Department of Economic Affairs, in place of Shri Rajat Bhargawa IAS.
9-Shri Rajat Bhargawa IAS (AP 1990) presently posted as Joint Secretary, Ministry of Finance, has been transferred as Joint Secretary, Ministry of Water Resource, River Development Ganga Rejuvenation,GOI, in place of Shri Sanjay Kumar Mishra IRS.
10-Shri Iqbal Singh Chahal IAS (Maharashtra 1989) presently posted as Joint Secretary, Ministry of Women & Child Development is placed on Compulsory wait in the same Ministry until further orders.
