For the first time, the Telangana State government has announced the Telangana Excellence(TEX) Awards-2017 for IAS Officerscovering Innovation, General and Flagship schemes under Individual, Group and Organisation categories.
According to an official release here on Sunday, under the Innovation category, JangaonDistrict Collector A Sri Devasena was selected for the award for successfully taking up the project ‘Training and Mass Demonstration of Martial Arts and Self-Defence Techniques by girl students of Government Schools’.
AdilabadDistrict Collector D Jyothi Buddha Prakash,MancheriyalCollector R V Karnan and Anurag Jayanthi for the project STARS-30 in ITDA,Utnoor. T Chiranjeevulu, Metropolitan Commissioner of Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority for the project – Development Permission Management System (DPMS) in HMDA under the innovation category.
In the Individual category, DrYogita Rana, Nizamabad District Collector for the project ‘ManavathaSadan Rehabilitation of HIV Infected Children’, A Murali, Collector, JayashankarBhupalapalliDistrict, A Appaiah, DMHO, Gopal Mulugu, Ravi Praveen Reddy Chityal, Aparna Eturunagaram and Vasudev Reddy, Mahadevpur, Bhupalapalli for the project ‘Building confidence on Government Medical Institutions in the district’ were selected.
In the Organisation category, Dr A Sharath,District Collector, Jagtiyal, for the Project ‘Paddy procurement’ was selected .
In the flagship scheme Mission Bhagiratha,IVenkatarama Reddy, District Collector of Siddipet, Mission Kakatiya – Rajiv Gandhi Hanumanthu, District Collector, BhadradriKothagudem, Mission Kalyanalakshmi/Shadi Mubarak – Dr.Jyothi Buddha Prakash, AdilabadCollector, K Krishna Reddy, Joint Collector and Ch Suryanarayana, RDO from Adilabad were selected.
For Mission Haritha Haram project, while Surendra Mohan, Suryapet Collector was chosen under the Individual category, Prasthan J Patil, Collector, Warangal Rural was chosen under organisation category.For the Arogya Lakshmi scheme, Gaurav Uppal,Nalgonda District Collector were also selected. The awardees will be presented with a trophy and a citation.
