Major Reshuffle – 39 IPS transfers in Tamil Nadu | The Tamil Nadu Govt has shifted 39 IPS Officers across the state with immediate effect , the full list of the officers are is :

1. Shri Rupesh Kumar Meena IPS ( 2005) presently Inspector General of Police, Enforcement, Chennai transferred as Inspector General of Police, Social Justice and Human Rights, Chennai.
2. Shri Najmul Hoda IPS ( 2001) presently IGP/Additional Commissioner of Police, Headquarters & Traffic, Avadi Police Commissionerate, Avadi transferred as Inspector General of Police, Welfare, Chennai.
3. Dr. J Loganathan IPS ( 2002) presently Inspector General of Police, Additional Commissioner of Police, Headquarters, Chennai given additional charge of the post of the IGP / Addl. Commissioner of Police, Law & Order, North, Greater Chennai Police, Chennai.
4. Shri T S Anbu IPS ( 2001) presently IGP / Additional Commissioner of Police, Law & Order, North, Greater Chennai Police, Chennai transferred as Inspector General of Police, Crime Branch CID, Chennai.
5. Smt A Radhika IPS ( 2004) presently Inspector General of Police, Armed Police, Chennai transferred as Inspector General of Police, Enforcement, Chennai.
6. Smt. N Kamini IPS ( 2004) presently IGP/Additional Commissioner of Police, Headquarters & Traffic, Tambaram Police Commissionerate transferred as Inspector General of Police, Civil Supplies CID, Chennai.
7. Ms. V V Geethanjali Additional Superintendent of Police, Cyber Crime Wing, Karur District promoted to the rank of Superintendent of Police and posted as Deputy Commissioner of Police, Cyber Crime Cell, Greater Chennai Police, Chennai.
8. Shri P V Vijeya Karthik Raj, Additional Superintendent of Police, Crime against Women and Children, Kallakurichi District promoted to the rank of Superintendent of Police and posted as Superintendent of Police, State Police Master Control Room, Chennai.
9. Shri V Vinoth Santharam, Additional Superintendent of Police, Headquarters, Kancheepuram District promoted to the rank of Superintendent of Police and posted as Superintendent of Police, Special Units, CB CID-I, Chennai.
10. Shri R Ponkarthik Kumar, Additional Superintendent of Police, Crime against Women and Children, Cuddalore District promoted to the rank of Superintendent of Police and posted as Superintendent of Police, Economic Offences Wing, North Zone, Chennai.
11. Shri V Saravana Kumar, Additional Superintendent of Police, SB CID, Headquarters, Chennai promoted to the rank of Superintendent of Police and posted as Superintendent of Police, Vigilance & Anti Corruption, Southern Range, Chennai.
12. Smt. R. Jayanthi IPS ( 2010) presently Superintendent of Police, Central Intelligence Unit, Prohibition Offences, Chennai transferred as  Superintendent of Police/ Commandant, TSP VII Battalion, Pochampalli, Krishnagiri District .

Shri  K Vanniaperumal IPS ( 1992) presently Additional Director General of Police, Vigilance, Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution Corporation Ltd., (TANGEDCO), Chennai, has been promoted to the rank of Director General of Police and posted as DGP, Vigilance, Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution Corporation Ltd., (TANGEDCO), Chennai by upgrading the post of ADGP/Vigilance, TANGEDCO, Chennai.
37. Shri Abhay Kumar Singh IPS ( 1992) presently Additional Director General of Police/Director, Vigilance and Anti-Corruption, Chennai promoted to the rank of Director General of Police and posted as DGP/Director, Vigilance and Anti Corruption, Chennai by upgrading the post of ADGP/Director, Vigilance and Anti-Corruption, Chennai.
38. Dr. Sandeep Rai Rathore IPS ( 1992) presently Additional Director General of Police/Commissioner of Police, Avadi Commissionerate, Avadi, has been promoted to the rank of Director General of Police and posted as DGP, Training, Police Training Academy, Chennai .
39. Shri Rajeev Kumar IPS ( 1992) presently Additional Director General of Police / Inspector General, ITBP, New Delhi, has been promoted to the rank of Director General of Police without prejudice to his deputation with the Government of India.
