Indian Bureaucracy News, New Delhi, October 03, 2025 | Shri T S C Bosh has taken charge as Director (Projects) at REC Limited. His appointment was cleared by the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet on October 1, 2025 and announced through order issued by Ministry of Power today.
The position was previously been managed by the company’s Chairman and Managing Director as an additional charge.
With more than three decades of experience in the power sector, Shri Bosh has held senior roles across REC and its subsidiary, REC Power Development & Consultancy Limited (RECPDCL). As CEO of RECPDCL, he was associated with major rural electrification programmes, including the Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Gram Jyoti Yojana and the Saubhagya scheme, which achieved universal household electrification.
During his tenure as Executive Director (Engineering) at REC, Shri Bosh oversaw financing of projects in power generation, transmission, distribution, and renewable energy. His responsibilities also spanned corporate functions such as business development, IT, human resources, CSR, and project monitoring.
His appointment as Director (Projects) comes at a time when REC is engaged in financing large-scale energy transition and infrastructure projects aligned with national energy goals.
