Dr. Srivatsa Krishna is an accomplished civil servant whose career spans strategic leadership roles across the Government of India, state administrations, and premier international institutions. A scholar-administrator with deep expertise in management, technology, public policy, and governance, he is widely regarded for his innovative contributions to institution-building and administrative reforms. Dr. Krishna also brings valuable global experience. From 2003 to 2008, he served as Group Program Manager at the World Bank Group and IFC in Washington, D.C., where he worked on governance reforms, development finance, and institutional capacity building across emerging economies. His international exposure reinforced his strategic outlook and deepened his commitment to evidence-based policy-making.

Throughout his career, he has navigated a wide spectrum of responsibilities—including periods of study leave, ex-India assignments, and senior cadre postings—demonstrating consistency, intellectual depth, and administrative versatility. His leadership has contributed significantly to reforms in commerce, technology, urban development, tourism, and public administration.
