SJVN Limited has entered into an MoU with M/s Saurya Urja Company of Rajasthan Limited (SUCRL), (a Joint Venture of Govt. of Rajasthan and IL&FS Energy Development Company Limited) for allocation of land to develop of 300 MW Solar Power Generation capacity in the Solar Parks at Jodhpur & Jaisalmer in the state of Rajasthan being developed by Saurya Urja Company of Rajasthan Limited. The MoU signing was held on December 2015 at New Delhi in presence of Shri R K Bansal, Director (Electrical), SJVN. The MoU was signed on behalf of SJVN by Shri R K Agarwal ED (BD&MS) and by Mr Haziq BegDirector, on behalf of Saurya Urja Company of Rajasthan Limited (SUCRL).On this occasion of signing of MoU senior officials from SUCRL, Sh. H L Tayal, Head Business Development, Shri Bibhu Biswal, Vice-President, SUCRL and Mrs Sonia Dogra, Sr. Manager (BD&MS-Solar), SJVN were also present. This capacity addition will be a step forward towards SJVN goal to establish 1000 MW of solar power capacities by 2019 as committed during RE-INVEST.
