SJVN Signs MoU with Ministry of Power

During the financial year 2017-18 SJVN Limited plans energy generation of 8950 million units (under Excellent parameters) with an expected sales turnover of ` 2120 Crore from its 1500 MW Nathpa Jhakri Hydro Power Station, 412 MW Rampur Hydro Power Station in Himachal Pradesh ,47.6 MW Khirvire Wind Power Project in Maharashtra and 5 MW Solar Power Project in Gujarat.

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to this effect was signed between Shri P.K. Pujari, Secretary (Power) Govt. of India and Shri R.N. Misra, CMD, SJVN Ltd. at New Delhi. The MoU was signed in the presecnce of Ms. Shalini Prasad Additional Secretary, Ms Archana Agrawal Joint Secretary, Ms Renuka Kumar Director and other senior officials from Ministry of Power.   On this occasion from SJVN Sh A.S. Bindra, Director (Finance), Sh N.L. Sharma, Director (Personnel), Sh R.K. Bansal, Director (Electrical) and Sh Kanwar Singh, Director (Civil) were also present.

In this regard it is pertinent to mention that against the target of generating 8700 million units (under Excellent parameters) for FY 2016-17 the power Stations of SJVN have generated around 9045 million units.

Team SJVN will strive hard to ensure compliance of the laid down parameters during the year 2017-18.
