Indian Bureaucracy News, Gangtok, September 13, 2025 | The Government of Sikkim has announced transfer of five (05) officers, covering departments of Urban Development and Rural Development, and involving both IAS and state service officers. The state’s IAS cadre currently stands at 48 officers, including 34 direct recruits and 14 promoted from the State Civil Service.
- Shri Girdhari Lal Meena IAS (Sikkim 2021), presently Additional District Collector, Pakyong, is transferred and appointed as Joint Secretary – Urban Development Department.
- Shri Sabindra Rai SCS, presently Joint Secretary, Printing & Stationery, is transferred and appointed as Additional District Collector – Pakyong, Sikkim.
- Shri Santosh Kumar Alley, presently Additional District Collector, Soreng, is transferred and appointed as Additional District Collector – Gyalshing, Sikkim.
- Shri Rinchen Dorjee Bhutia, presently on deputation and posted as SDM – Mangan, with additional charge of Land Revenue and Disaster Management Department, Mangan, is transferred and appointed as Deputy RTO – Motor Vehicle Division, Gyalshing District.
- Shri Ravi Narayan Sharma, presently Principal Chief Engineer (Civil), Power Department, is transferred and appointed as Principal Chief Engineer – Civil, Rural Development Department, Sikkim.
