Ms. Shruti Agnihotriy IRAS (1998) presently CVO- Engineers India Ltd. (EIL), Delhi has been given extension for further period of two years beyond 30.07.2026 i.e. upto 30.07.2028.

Ms. Shruti Agnihotriy, a distinguished officer of the Indian Railways Accounts Service (IRAS), currently serves as the Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) of Engineers India Limited (EIL), a leading Public Sector Undertaking under the administrative control of the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas. She assumed this important responsibility in July 2023, bringing with her over 26 years of rich and diverse experience in public administration, financial management, vigilance, and organizational leadership.
A postgraduate in History from the University of Delhi, Ms. Agnihotriy belongs to the 1998 batch of IRAS. Throughout her illustrious career, she has held several key positions across major railway zones, including South Eastern Railway, North East Frontier Railway, and Northern Railway. Her professional journey has been marked by a steadfast commitment to transparency, accountability, and financial discipline.
In the early years of her career, Ms. Agnihotriy demonstrated exceptional investigative acumen by uncovering a major scam involving the use of fake revenue stamps in the Cash Office of Nagpur Division of Indian Railways. Her timely intervention not only exposed financial irregularities but also reinforced institutional safeguards against fraud.
As the head of the Finance and Accounts Department of Tinsukia Division in North East Frontier Railway, she played a transformative role in strengthening financial oversight and project scrutiny. Through meticulous examination of proposals and expenditure plans, she ensured substantial savings worth crores of rupees to the public exchequer. Under her leadership, the division earned the prestigious Shield for the Best Finance Department across the North East Frontier Railway, reflecting her commitment to excellence and efficiency.
Widely respected for her financial expertise and managerial capabilities, Ms. Agnihotriy has been instrumental in driving systemic reforms through innovation and technology-led solutions.
