Shiv Aasheesh Singh IFS appointed DFO – Rangareddy, Telangana
Shri Shiv Aasheesh Singh IFS (Telangana 2018), presently District Forest Officer, Mahabubnagar, has been transferred and posted as District Forest Officer – Rangareddy, Telangana.
An officer of the 2018 batch of the Indian Forest Service, Shri Shiv Aasheesh Singh has been serving as District Forest Officer, Mahabubnagar. His present assignment has involved responsibility for the administration and management of forest areas and departmental activities in the district.
With the latest transfer, Shri Singh will take charge as District Forest Officer, Rangareddy. The new assignment places him in charge of the forest administration of a strategically important district adjoining the Hyderabad metropolitan region.
The position of District Forest Officer involves supervision of forest protection and conservation activities, management of departmental field formations and implementation of government programmes relating to forests and the environment.
The Rangareddy assignment requires coordination across a rapidly developing region where forest administration and environmental concerns exist alongside significant urbanisation and infrastructure growth. The role therefore calls for close coordination with various government departments and local stakeholders.
Shri Singh’s experience as DFO, Mahabubnagar, will be valuable in handling his new responsibility. His transfer is part of the wider administrative changes ordered in the Telangana Forest Department.
