Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation, Shri Amit Shah, expressed the profound spiritual significance of the recent celebration of Navratri pujas at the historic Sharda Temple in Kashmir. This marks a significant milestone, as it is the first time such ceremonies have taken place since 1947.

In a statement shared through his official communication channels, Minister Amit Shah highlighted that earlier this year, the Chaitra Navratri Puja was observed at the temple, and now the sacred mantras of the Shardiya Navratri puja resonate within its hallowed walls.

Shri Amit Shah also reflected on his privilege to reopen the temple on March 23, 2023, following extensive restoration efforts. This symbolic gesture not only represents the return of peace to the valley but also serves as a beacon for the revival of our nation’s spiritual and cultural heritage under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi.
