Dr. Shamsher Singh IPS (Gujarat 1991) presently ADGP – Technical Services and SCRB, Gandhinagar, has been transferred and appointed as Commissioner of Police, Vadodara City replacing Shri R B Brahmbhatt IPS. Dr. Shamsher Singh has completed Ph.D. He is alumni of IIT Delhi. He is a runner with track record of participation in running events including Run the Rann event in which he completed a 161-km ultra trail run in Kutch in just 39 hours against the allotted 45 hours.
