Several flights diverted from Delhi’s IGI Airport due to VIP movement

Several flights were diverted and delayed from Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport on Saturday due to VIP movement. Around 13 flights were diverted between 5:30 PM and 6:15 PM while delays continued for several hours. Reports say, the high frequency of VIP charter planes landing at Delhi airport was the main cause behind the delay.

Several carriers including Jet Airways and SpiceJet had tweeted about the delay of flights.
