Shri Saurabh Garg IAS (Odisha 1991) (Retd.) presently Secretary- Ministry of
Statistics & Programme Implementation has been given extension for a further period of
one year beyond 31 07.2025, i.e., upto 31 .07.2026 on existing terms and conditions by the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet.

The officer will also officiate as Secretary – National Statistical Commission.
