Shri Sanjiv Kumar Mittal IAS (Uttar Pradesh 1987 ) in wait list has been appointed as Principal Secretary Finance and Finance Commissioner.
Mr. Sanjiv Kumar Mittal, IAS served as Joint Secretary and Financial Advisor of Ministry of Coal, Govt. of India, New Delhi. In his career of over two decades, Mr. Mittal has held various key positions such as Sub Divisional Officer, Chief Development Officer, Collector and District Magistrate, Special Secretary, Department of Industrial Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh, Divisional Commissioner, Secretary, Department of Finance, Government of Uttar Pradesh, Sugar and Cane Commissioner, Uttar Pradesh and Director MoC. Mr. Mittal serves as a Director of Hindustan Copper Limited and Hindustan Zinc Limited. He served as Director of Bharat Aluminium Company Limited. He served as a Part-Time Director of Coal India Ltd., from September 10, 2007 to December 30, 2010, Director of The Singareni Collieries Company Limited from February 10, 2005 to September 10, 2007 and Artificial Limbs Manufacturing Corporation of India from August 2, 2007 to May 13, 2009. Mr. Mittal holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, New Delhi.
