Sameera Saurabh appointed as Director | Intelligence Bureau
Ms. Saurabh is an Indian Economic Service Officer of 2003 Batch and currently working in Non-Functional Selection Grade (Director Level). When IES officers of JAG/NFSG level are posted in the Economic Division of a Ministry/Department, they are designated as Deputy Economic Adviser/Additional Economic Adviser and in other Divisions the nomenclature of their post follows the CSS pattern of Deputy Secretary/Director. Her designation in IB would be Additional Economic Adviser. IES Cadre has already issued corrigendum in this regard
