Shri S R Narasimhan joined the Board of Power System Operation Corporation Limited (POSOCO) as Director (System Operation) on 29th Nov 2018. Prior to this assignment, he was Executive Director, National Load Despatch Centre (NLDC) responsible for reliable and economic operation of the All India electricity grid which is also connected to the neighbouring countries of Bhutan, Nepal and Bangladesh. Shri S R Narasimhan has a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the erstwhile Delhi College of Engineering and a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) from IGNOU. He is a Fellow of the Institution of Engineers, India, Senior Member of IEEE and a member of CIGRE. He has published over thirty papers at the national and international level.
