Shri Rudra Gaurav Shresth IFS (1999) has been appointed as Officer on Special Duty (OSD) in the Prime Minister’s Office with effect from the date of his joining. Shri Shresth has served in the Indian Missions in France, Mauritius, Afghanistan and Singapore. He has also held different positions in the Foreign Office in New Delhi, including in the personnel division of the Ministry, as Director of the office of the Foreign Secretary, and in the Policy Planning Division.
Shri Shresth has a Masters degree in Economics from the Delhi School of Economics, and speaks French in addition to English and Hindi.
