Rural Electrification Corporation Limited (REC), A Govt. of India Navratna Enterprise, committed financial assistance under CSR initiative to National Backward Classes Finance & Development Corporation (NBCFDC) for the project, job oriented skill development training (residential) to 1600 beneficiaries belonging to economically weaker sections of the society across Indiathrough its CSR arm, REC Foundation.
The main objective of the project is transform the lives of economically weaker section by providing them skill development training leading to income generation and economic independence.
The Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) in this regard was executed between REC Foundation and NBCFDC in New Delhi on30th November 2017 in the presence of Shri S Garg, CEO, REC Foundation. Shri C P Bhatia, GM, REC, on behalf of REC Foundation and Shri A K Punia, GM,NBCFDC signed the MoA.
