Union Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore participated in Jan Samparka Abhiyana in Belgaum. Speaking to media persons, he informed that on completion of three years of NDA government, the ministers are touring the country to inform the people about welfare programmes launched by the Central Government.
Responding to a question Mr.Rathore said Centre has launched several welfare programmes for farmers, which will turn around the economic situation of the farming sector.
On freedom of the press, he said, world’s biggest democracy cannot scuttle press freedom and his Government pays highest regard to it.
