Shri Rajeev Saxena IRSS (NFHAG), currently on deputation with the Ministry of Textiles, is posted as DRM – Sealdah, Eastern Railway, relieving Shri Deepak Nigam IRSME.
Shri Rajeev Saxena, an officer of the Indian Railway Stores Service (IRSS) from the 1995 batch, has had a distinguished career in the Indian Railways and public administration. He currently serves as Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Textiles, where he plays a key role in shaping policies and initiatives for the textile industry. Before this, he was the Chief Vigilance Officer at the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI), overseeing vigilance administration and ensuring transparency within the organization.
In March 2025, Mr. Saxena was appointed as the Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) of Sealdah under Eastern Railway, where he is responsible for overseeing operations and administration, with a focus on improving service efficiency and delivery. His extensive experience in railway operations, vigilance administration, and public sector management has allowed him to make significant contributions to the modernization and efficiency of India’s infrastructure.
