Shri Mudit Mittal, a distinguished officer of the Indian Railway Accounts Service (IRAS) from the 1996 batch, has made notable contributions to the Indian Railways throughout his career. He currently serves as the Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) of Mysuru Division in the South Western Railway zone, a key leadership role he assumed as part of a significant reshuffle to optimize efficiency across divisions.
Mr. Mittal has a proven track record in financial management and strategic planning, having held important positions such as Financial Adviser and Chief Accounts Officer (FA&CAO) at the Central Organisation for Modernisation of Workshops (COFMOW) in New Delhi. His leadership was further extended when he was deputed to Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) as General Manager (Finance), where he contributed to infrastructure development and project execution in the railway sector.
