Yantra India Limited, headquartered in Nagpur, Maharashtra, is a public sector defense company established in 2021 as part of the Indian government’s restructuring of the Ordnance Factory Board. This move led to the creation of seven Public Sector Undertakings, with Yantra India emerging as a key player in the defense manufacturing industry.
The company operates eight defense manufacturing facilities, which produces arms, explosives, artillery, and munitions for the Indian Armed Forces. These factories carry forward the legacy of the Ordnance Factory Board, with facilities located in Ambajhari, Ambarnath, Bhusawal, Dum Dum, Katni, Muradnagar, Ishapore, and Jabalpur.
Among the company’s key products is the Pinaka multi-barrel rocket launcher, demonstrating Yantra India’s commitment to advancing indigenous defense technologies to meet the nation’s security requirements.
