Considering the focus on project business, during the month RailTel participated in the ASCON tender of Ministry of Defence as Lead Bidder and successfully submitted its bid on 27.10.2015. The scope of work includes establishment of 15000 KM of OFC network along with network creation (DWDM, MPLS, Satellite, Radio, mobile nodes, etc), civil infrastructure and maintenance of network over 8 years. Total 5 bidders participated in the tender and the technical evaluation is under progress presently.
