As announced by the Minister of Railways in the Railway Budget 2016-17, it is proposed to provide train borne entertainment by installing Public Address systems in trains. Details have not been finalized but no expense is envisaged by Railways as the services are to be operated by selected licensees, through commercial advertisements.
