Shri R Masakui IFS (2001), presently Ambassador of India to the Republic of Zimbabwe, has been appointed as the next High Commissioner of India to Jamaica. He is expected to take up the assignment shortly.Shri Masakui served as Third Secretary/Second Secretary, Jakarta, Indonesia, Under Secretary, UNES, New Delhi, Consul in Johannesburg, South Africa, Counsellor in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Before taking up his present assignment on 12th May 2016, he was serving as Director in the Ministry of External Affairs, New Delhi.
