PM Modi to visit Gujarat today

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi is set to embark on a visit to Gujarat on October 30-31, 2023. During this two-day visit, he will undertake several significant activities aimed at promoting development, unity, and governance.

Day 1 – October 30, 2023:

  • 10:30 AM: Prime Minister Modi will start the day by performing Pooja and Darshan at Ambaji Temple.
  • 12:00 PM: Following the temple visit, he will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone for a series of development projects in Mehsana. These projects, collectively valued at approximately Rs. 5800 crores, span various sectors, including rail, road, drinking water, and irrigation.

Day 2 – October 31, 2023:

  • 8:00 AM: On the second day of the visit, Prime Minister Modi will travel to Kevadia. There, he will pay tribute at the Statue of Unity, followed by the celebration of Rashtriya Ekta Diwas.
  • 11:15 AM: Prime Minister Modi will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone for multiple development projects in Kevadia worth Rs. 160 crore. These projects encompass a diverse range of initiatives, from a Heritage Train to infrastructure for clean energy and transportation.

Additionally, on the same day, the Prime Minister will address the Officer Trainees of the 98th Common Foundation Course as part of Aarambh 5.0. This event is dedicated to the theme ‘Harnessing the power of disruption’ and focuses on how disruptions are reshaping the present and future, particularly in the realm of governance for inclusive development. The 98th Common Foundation Course involves 560 Officer Trainees from various civil services of India and Bhutan.

Prime Minister Modi’s visit is expected to strengthen the government’s commitment to development, unity, and progressive governance across various sectors and regions in Gujarat.
