Shri Praween Prakash IPS (West Bengal 2014) presently Commanding Officer- SAP, 6th Battalion, has been transferred and posted as Commanding Officer- SSF Battalion, Barrackpore, West Bengal.
The Commanding Officer – SSF Battalion, Barrackpore, West Bengal, is a senior police officer responsible for leading a battalion of the State Security Force (SSF) under the West Bengal Police. The SSF was raised to provide dedicated security to correctional homes, courts, government establishments, and other sensitive installations across the state.
