Shri Prabhat Kumar presently Horticulture Commissioner given extension for the additional charge as Chief Executive Officer (JS level), Coconut Development Board (CDB) for a period of six months w.e.f. 06.04.2025 by the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet.
Dr. Prabhat Kumar is a distinguished Principal Scientist with over two decades of dedicated experience in teaching, research, and extension, Dr. Kumar has made notable contributions to agricultural education and development.
He holds a Ph.D. in Horticulture, specializing in Floriculture and Landscaping, from the prestigious Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI), New Delhi. His academic and professional journey reflects a deep commitment to enhancing the quality and relevance of agricultural education in India.
