Smt Poovitha S IAS (Karnataka 2016), presently Special Officer to Chief Secretary of Karnataka, Bengaluru, is given additional charge of Deputy Project Director – HRMS 2.0, Bengaluru, with the post of Deputy Project Director declared equivalent in status and responsibilities to the cadre post of Director of Municipal Administration in the Senior Scale of IAS.
HRMS 2.0 is the upgraded version of the Human Resource Management System (HRMS) implemented by the Finance Department of the Government of Karnataka. Designed to manage the entire employee lifecycle—from recruitment to retirement—it provides a more efficient and centralized framework, streamlining and modernizing HR functions for over 600,000 state government employees.
The project comes at a cost of 4.35 crores, according to cips.org.in and is being developed implemented with Kellton Tech Solutions Ltd. and CMC Ltd.
