PM to visit UP, will lay foundation stone of Shri Kalki Dham temple and launch 14,000 projects worth over Rs 10 lakh crore

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi is scheduled for a visit to Uttar Pradesh on the 19th of February, 2024, where he is set to partake in significant events that mark milestones in the state’s development.

At approximately 10:30 AM, the Prime Minister will lay the foundation stone of Shri Kalki Dham Temple in the Sambhal district. The auspicious ceremony will include the unveiling of the temple’s model, with Prime Minister Modi delivering an address to the gathered audience. Shri Kalki Dham, overseen by the Shri Kalki Dham Nirman Trust, chaired by Acharya Pramod Krishnam, holds symbolic importance. The event will witness the presence of numerous saints, religious leaders, and other distinguished personalities.

Later in the day, around 1:45 PM, the Prime Minister is slated to inaugurate 14,000 projects across Uttar Pradesh, collectively valued at more than Rs 10 lakh crore. This ground breaking ceremony marks the fourth such event, focusing on investment proposals received during the UP Global Investors Summit 2023 (UPGIS 2023) conducted in February of the previous year. The diverse array of projects spans sectors like Manufacturing, Renewable Energy, IT & ITeS, Food Processing, Housing & Real Estate, Hospitality and Entertainment, Education, among others. The ceremony anticipates an attendance of approximately 5000 participants, including prominent industrialists, representatives from leading global and Indian companies, as well as ambassadors, high commissioners, and other distinguished guests. This initiative underscores the commitment to propel Uttar Pradesh into new heights of growth and development.
