Prime Minster Narendra Modi will visit Himachal Pradesh today. During his visit, he will inaugurate three hydropower projects of 1,752 MW capacity in the state.
The Prime Minister will also address Parivartan Rally organised by BJP at Paddal Maidan in Mandi town. Union Power Minister Piyush Goyal would accompany Prime Minister while Union Health Minister J. P. Nadda is already in the town.
The Mandi town has several Shiva’s temple and therefore it is also known as Choti Kashi. Special Puja and Havan Yazna are being performed since morning in the town on the first visit of Mr Narender Modi to Himachal Pradesh after becoming Prime Minister.
After arriving here, Prime Minster Narender Modi would dedicate 520 Megawatt generation capacity third phase of Parbati hydro power project, 412 Megawatt Rampur and 800 Megawatt Kol Dam power project through remote to the nation.
