The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, congratulated France for the formal launch of Unified Payments Interface (UPI) at the Eiffel Tower in Paris . He called the move a wonderful example of encouraging digital payments and strengthening ties. The Prime Minister posted on X:
