Minister of State (I/c) for Power, Coal, New & Renewable Energy, Piyush Goyal visited 1500 MW Indira Gandhi Super Thermal Power Project, Jhajjar Haryana today. Shri Goyal was accompanied by Shri OP Dhankar, Cabinet Minister for Agriculture, Govt. of Haryana, AK Jha, CMD, NTPC and UP Pani, Director(HR), NTPC.
During his visit, Shri Goyal inspected the power plant and reviewed its activities and performance. Addressing the media persons Shri Goyal stated that the Control Room, the Heart of the Power Plant is very impressive and he was particularly happy at the enthusiasm of the Team led by Shri SK Sinha, CEO, Aravali Power Company Pvt. Ltd. and senior IGSTPP officials. He appreciated the innovative work being developed for use in other Stations. The dignitaries also planted saplings near the power plant.
