Payment of Interim Dividend by AAI for the Year 2016-17

Airports Authority of India, a consistently profit making organization since its inception, declared an Interim Dividend of Rs.560 Crores for the year 2016-17.Dividend by AAI-Indian Bureaucracy

AAI has earned a Revenue of Rs.10,824 Crores [previous year – Rs.9285 Crores], Profit Before Tax of Rs.3697 Crores [previous year Rs.2791 Crores] and the Profit After Tax of Rs.2537 Crores [previous year Rs.1959 Crores] for the year 2015-16.

AAI has spent an amount Rs.4315 Crores during the last three years [2013-14 to 2015-16] on modernization of Airport terminals, passenger facilities and Air Traffic and Navigational Aids at its Airports and has planned to spend this year Rs.1974 Crores.

AAI has paid Rs.1106 Crores as Dividend in the last three years [   2013-14   –      2015-16] and has also contributed to the Central Exchequer Rs.6253 Crores in different forms during the same period, apart from paying Dividend.

Today, [22nd February, 2017], an Interim Dividend amounting to Rs.560.00 Crores was presented by Dr.Guruprasad Mohapatra, Chairman,  AAI to the Hon’ble Union Minister of Civil Aviation, Shri P. Ashok Gajapathi Raju and  Hon’ble  Union Minister of State for Civil Aviation, Shri Jayant Sinha in the presence of the Secretary, MoCA, Board Members of AAI and Senior officers from the Ministry.
