The Panchpatmalli bauxite mine of National Aluminium Company (NALCO) has bagged the Appreciation Award in large mines category at the Confederation of Indian Industries (CII) Eastern Region Safety Health & Environment Excellence Awards 2016-17. Appreciating the concerted efforts made by the employees, Dr. Tapan Kumar Chand, CMD of the company, conveyed hearty congratulations to NALCO Collective for the accolades. On behalf of NALCO, Shri S. Chaudhuri, General Manager (Mines) and Shri Sanjaya Kumar Patnaik, AGM (Environment), received the award at the 11th Symposium on Safety and award ceremony organized by CII Eastern Region at Kolkata on 8 th August 2017.
