Corporate Sports division, ONGC, New Delhi has taken unique initiative to conduct 1st Para- games from 19 to 21 December 2017 at Thyagraj Stadium, New Delhi. The event comprises of badminton, table tennis and various athletics events. Para athletes from all work centers will be representing their respective sectors to compete in the events. To inculcate team bonding and sportsmanship, Sports committee, WON Basin, Vadodara arranged a seven day camp for its athletes at Vadodara from 7 – 13 December 2017. Athletes were given expert tips and exposure in badminton, table tennis and athletics events.
The participants expressed their sincere gratitude towards the ONGC management especially to ED – Basin Manager Mr. Arun Kumar, GGM(Mech.) – Head CWS Mr. B.K Prasad and GM(I.E) – Support Manager Mr. N S Negi for arranging and supporting this unique initiative. The camp was very well organized and coordinated by sports committee members AEE(Elex.), Ms. Alpana Gautam, F&A Mr. Rajat Sawhney, AT(Production) Mr. Deepak Sharma and Telecom Operator Mr. S STomar.
