NTPC pays 2,152.07 Cr interim dividend for FY 2016-17

 Indian Bureaucracy PSU Update: NTPC Ltd. has paid an interim dividend of Rs. 2,152.07 crore, being 26.10% of the paid-up equity share capital of the Company for Financial Year 2016-17. The RTGS advice for the transfer of Rs. 1,500.95 crore to Government of India, was presented by Shri Gurdeep Singh, CMD, NTPC Ltd. to Shri Piyush Goyal, 

 Hon’ble Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Power, Coal and New & Renewable Energy and Mines in the presence of Shri Pradeep Kumar Pujari, Secretary, Ministry of Power, Shri Aniruddha Kumar, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Power, Shri K. Biswal, Director (Finance), Shri A. K. Jha, Director (Technical), Shri K.K.Sharma, Director (Operations), Shri S. Roy, Director (Human Resources) and Shri A. K. Gupta, Director (Commercial) from NTPC Ltd.
