NRDC Inks MOA with iB HUBS for Nurturing Startups


National Research Development Corporation, an Enterprise of Department of Scientific & Industrial Research, Ministry of Science & Technology, Govt. of India, New Delhi (NRDC) & iBuild Innovations India Private Limited, Hyderabad (iBuild)  has entered into Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) for providing technical know-how on different technologies, IP support services and connecting to Start-up India Mission etc.

Dr. H. Purushotham, Chairman & Managing Director, on behalf of National Research Development Corporation (NRDC) and Ms. Radha Alekhya K, CEO, iBuild Innovations India Private Limited, Hyderabad has signed the MOA in the presence of Shri Amitabh Kant, CEO, NITI Aayog, Govt. of India. Senior officials from both the organizations were also present.

NRDC has been serving the nation for more than six decades in development, promotion and commercialisation of technologies emanating from R&D organization, PSUs and academia. It has so far licensed technologies to more than 4800 entrepreneurs/ companies in the country in almost all sectors of industry and provided technical and financial assistance for filing about 1700 patents in India and abroad. NRDC also connects the technologies to start-ups.

iBuild is engaged in assisting young entrepreneurs by providing them end-to-end assistance in all the areas like mentoring, funding, access to infrastructure, product and business plan development etc. Through its strong foothold across India, iBuild (iB Hubs) shall also provide the necessary market access to entrepreneurs and innovators.

 iBuild and ‘NRDC’ recognise the respective strengths of the two organisations and accordingly agree to cooperate in the development of technologies and their successful transfer to start-ups for commercial exploitation and socio economic benefits.
