NLC India Limited celebrated “Bakrid” festival 2016 at Lignite Hall on 30th November 2016 evening with great fervor and gaiety.
Dr. S.K Acharya CMD, NLCI participated as the chief guest of the occasion and addressed the gathering. In his speech said that, all religions and traditions have a common value system and India is land where ideal of unity in diversity, respect for all religions has existed for long and it follows philosophy of “Vasudhaiva kutumbakam”. In all religious practices we can observe inherent scientific approach but when knowledge and spiritual awareness go in hand in hand then only it will win the social system, He added,. He conveyed his Bakrid wishes to Muslim Jammath members, muslim community in Neyveli and appreciated them for their significant role in the growth of the organization.
Dr. S. Manian. Vice-Chancellor, Annamalai University participated as guest of honour and felicitated the occasion. Functional Directors, Shri Rakesh Kumar, Shri Subir Das, Shri V. Thangapandian, and senior officials graced the occasion with their family members.
Neyveli Jamaath joined hands with NLCI in organizing this grand event wherein large number of Muslim families participated in the celebrations. Various Cultural associations of Neyveli and members of Trade Unions, Welfare Associations participated in the programme.
