National Institute of Personnel Management (NIPM) having its Head Quarters at Kolkata is the premier professional body for the development of HR practices in India. With a lofty objective of developing young talent among HR students, NIPM is organizing a National Business Quiz at three tier level. As a part of this programme, a chapter level Business Quiz 2019 was organized by National Institute of Personnel Management, Neyveli Chapter in association with NLC India Limited at Learning & Development Centre, Neyveli on 24th August 2019. Thirty Seven teams from Colleges all over Tamil Nadu participated in this event. Two teams from the stream of Executive MBA of Annamalai University in collaboration with NLC India Limited came First and Second in this Competition and qualified for Southern Regional Round to be held at Bangalore shortly. Dr. L. Karthikeyan, Ms. Payal Panda, Mr. Dharmarajan & Mr. Vigeshwar were the team members.
Award ceremony was held in the evening and Shri R. Vikraman, Director/ HR, NLC India Limited and Chairman, NIPM Neyveli Chapter, was the Chief Guest. In his address Shri R. Vikraman motivated the student community to enhance their quiz skills and consistently learn the latest happenings in HR domain in particular and business in general so that they would come out with flying colours in all such competitions. Apart from the winning teams, all the participant teams were issued with Participation Certificates. Shri N. Sadish Babu, Executive Director(HR), Senior HR Executives and all other HR executives participated in the Award Ceremony Shri C. Thiagaraju, Hon’y Secretary, NIPM, Neyveli Chapter & Chief General Manager(HR), NLC India Limited made all the arrangements.
