Under its CSR-SD Scheme, NHPC Limited, India’s premier hydropower company in association with Urban, PHC, Nangla Enclave – Department of Health, Faridabad and Asian Institute of Medical Sciences, Faridabad organized a free medical camp at Urban Primary Health Centre, Nangla Enclave (Bhadana Dharamshala) on 22nd December 2017.
The camp was inaugurated by Shri S.K. Jain, Executive Director (CSR), NHPC in the presence of Dr. Kamla Fartyal, General Manager (Medical Services), Shri B P Rao, Chief Engineer (CSR), Dr. R.S. Raathi, Dr. Neelam Bansal from NHPC, Incharge Medical Officer, Urban PHC Nangla Enclave Dr. Swapna Dhar, Medical Team of Asian Institute of Medical Sciences, Faridabad, Councilor and Sarpanch of Ward No.9 Shri Mohinder Singh, Social Activist Shri G.R. Bhadana and Shri Ratan Pal Bainshla were present on the occasion.
The camp was highly successful with over 900 persons from the surrounding areas availing the benefits of the camp. During the camp free medical consultation was given by specialist doctors in Gynaecology, Paediatrics, Eye, Orthopaedics, and Internal Medicine, and free medicines were also distributed.
