Drawing inspiration from Hon’ble Prime Minister’s Appeal to the citizens for participation in Organ Donation Movement, NBCC partnered with Hon’ble PM`s vision in nation building exercise to create awareness for the theme and motivate the employees of Organization for the purpose.
Under the guidance of Shri Anoop Kumar Mittal, CMD, the Company took the initiative to spread awareness amongst employees of the Company for “ORGAN DONATION” and accordingly organized a Programme on the theme recently at Corporate Office. National Organ and Tissue Transplant Organization (NOTTO), a National level Organization constituted under Directorate General of Health Services, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, presented this programme. Dr. S K Badan, Consultant Coordinator, Ms. Rachna Singh, Consultant (R&D) & Ms. Anita Ahuja, Consultant (IEC), from NOTTO, conducted the Session, which was attended by approx. 40 senior officers of the Company.
A presentation on various topics relevant to Organ Donation and Role of NOTTO in facilitating Organ Donation was made by NOTTO Team. This was followed by question- answer session on the subject. Pledge Forms were also distributed among officials, who found the session very interesting and enlightening.
