National Aluminium Company Limited (NALCO) has instituted a State-level Award titled ‘Nalco Utkal Gaurav Madhusudan Das Quality Award’ to recognize, appreciate and encourage outstanding practices and results achieved by organizations, through implementation of Total Quality Management (TQM) in their respective manufacturing units operational in Odisha. The annual award beginning from 2017 shall be given in three categories, viz. Small Enterprises, Medium Enterprises and Large Enterprises. The award portfolio shall carry a total cash prize of Rs. 1 lakh (Rs. 50,000/- for Large Enterprise and Rs. 25,000/- each for Medium and Small Enterprises). The aluminium major is presently inviting online applications for the award, for which the last date of submission is 10th January 2017.
