Indian women’s cricket team Captain Ms. Mithali Raj presently Chief Office Superintendent (Chief OS) in South Central Railway(SCR) has been promoted as Officer on Special Duty (Sports) in Hyderabad-headquartered South Central Railway.
The letter from Railway Board to SCR conveyed that the Approval of the Ministry of Railways is communicated for grant of out of turn promotion to Ms. Mithali Raj to Group ‘B’ Gazetted post of OSD (Sports) in recognition of Indian team’s performance in the Women’s World Cup.
