Ministry of Agriculture invites 1500 farmers from across the country for Republic Day Parade

IndianBureaucracy, New Delhi – In celebration of India’s 75th Republic Day, over 1500 farmers from different parts of the country, beneficiaries of central schemes such as Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana and Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchayee Yojana, have been invited by the government. These farmers will undergo a comprehensive training session scheduled for January 25, 2024, focusing on key government initiatives, including AIF, M&T, National Seeds Cooperation, and Per Drop More Crop.

Following the training session, the farmers will embark on a field visit to the PUSA Campus as part of the commemorative activities. Subsequently, on January 26, 2024, the invited farmers will witness the Republic Day parade at Kartavya Path. Following this, a special program at Subramaniam Hall, PUSA, will be addressed by Shri Arjun Munda, Union Minister of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare and Tribal Affairs to express Modi government’s gratitude to the farmers for their role in strengthening the economy and emphasise the government’s commitment to supporting them through various schemes.
