Indian Bureaucracy Assembly Elections News |  The Assembly elections will be held in Maharashtra and Haryana in a single phase on October 21 and the results will be declared on October 24, the Election Commission has informed today. The last date for filing nominations would be October 4 and the deadline for withdrawing them would be October 7. These are the first assembly polls after the national election this year, with almost 1.82 crore voters in Haryana while Maharashtra has approx 8.9 cr voters.North Western Railway, Jaipur

In 2014, in Haryana’s 90-seat assembly , BJP had won 47 and Congress 15; the INLD with 19 seats , rest going to other regional parties and independents while in Maharashtra, which has 288 Seats , BJP had won 122 seats and Shiv Sena had won 63 seats.
