25.02.2025 – Indian Bureaucracy Network | The Maharashtra government on Tuesday announced a significant bureaucratic reshuffle, transferring seven senior IAS Officers ahead of the upcoming Budget session of the State Legislature which is set to begin on 3rd March.
- Shri Rajendra V Nimbalkar IAS (Maharashtra 2007 ) currently posted as Managing Director – Maharashtra Small Scale Industries Development Corporation (MSSIDC) has been transferred and posted as MD – Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Research Training and Human Development Institute (SARTHI), Pune.
- Shri Sanjay L Yadav IAS (Maharashtra 2009 ) currently posted as District Collector- Mumbai has been transferred and posted as State Project Director- Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan, Mumbai.
- Shri Rajendra Bharud IAS (Maharashtra 2013 ) currently posted as Commissioner – Tribal Research and Training Institute (TRTI), Pune has been transferred and posted as Project Director- Rashtriya Uchchatar Shiksha Abhiyan, Higher and Technical Education Department, Mumbai.
- Shri Deepak Kumar Meena IAS (Maharashtra 2013 ) currently posted as Additional Tribal Commissioner- Thane has been transferred and posted as Joint Commissioner, State Tax, Mumbai.
- Shri Sameer Madhav Kurtkoti IAS (Maharashtra 2013 ) currently posted as Joint Commissioner- State Tax, Mumbai has been transferred and posted as Commissioner – TRTI, Pune.
- Shri Mahesh Awhad IAS (Maharashtra 2015) currently posted as Managing Director – Haffkine Bio-Pharma Corporation has been transferred and posted as Chief Executive Officer of the Maharashtra Medical Goods Procurement Authority, Mumbai.
- Shri Keerthi Kiran H Pujar IAS (Maharashtra 2018 ) currently posted as Chief Executive Officer, Zilla Parishad, Ratnagiri has been transferred and posted as Collector- Dharashiv.
The reshuffle comes at a crucial time as the state prepares for the Budget session, with key administrative positions being realigned to ensure efficient governance and policy implementation.
